Welcome to Garden Girl Flowers! I appreciate your visit to our online Floral Boutique. My name is Julianne. My Dad calls me Garden Girl, because I’m always out in my garden.
As you can most likely tell … I love flowers! I have spent over 30 years doing what I love most: designing floral art that makes people happy! I look forward to another 30+ years continuing this path and I hope you will join me in this journey.
Inspiration
I try to source most of my products locally. (I grew up in Eugene and I have many ties to local farms and florists in the area.) We have large wonderful gardens filled with unique blooms that I use in my floral designs. I am surrounded by flowers! My gardens are mostly organic, and I try to keep sustainable practices for my garden as well as places where I purchase. I also have wonderful connections with many quality and ethical growers around the world - so I can also provide special requests quite readily.
It’s a family affair
Although I grew up in Eugene , I have also lived in Portland, Corvallis, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Vancouver, and Japan. I returned to Eugene to raise my family, who have been a part of my floral design journey. Eugene is Home.
Some of my children’s earliest memories are touring floral farms, and watching me garden from a high perch in a nearby birch tree. Both my children are college graduates of the University of Oregon. And still live in Eugene and help with the business. In fact, my daughter now makes the beautiful Garden-Pressed Botanical Candles and new Wildflower Candle Co candles, shown in this shop.
And now my husband Steve helps with the business, my daughter Madeline works with me full time, and my Mom is in charge of the printing of all the cards we use. And my son Jacob helps out too once a week and holidays.
All these experiences and places have shaped who I am and my love for design. My floral design experience covers wild, modern, contemporary, ikebana, and many others. I have always loved nature and being outdoors. All seasons inspire me in different ways in the creation of these unique designs.
It is a great joy to provide floral designs for parties of any size, including intimate gatherings, large events, and and Weddings.
